We have a hard time with the concept of “cyberspace” without imagining or superimposing a metaphor of “real” physical space. We call it “the pub” “thegetaway”, we write on TheWall, we have a faceBOOK. It is a topoi—a place from which to speak set with conventions and expectations. In Burke's terms, we need a ground.
